Homemade Sugar Free Hot Chocolate Recipe

This hot cocoa is one of the best keto treats to satisfy your chocolate cravings! Always a winner with my friends, this family recipe has been passed along for generations.

- 1.5 oz 100% dark unsweetened chocolate bar
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2/3 cup sweetener (I use erythritol)
Into a large saucepan, over medium-low heat, add unsweetened almond milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, 100% unsweetened dark chocolate (I use pure unsweetened cacao mass), and sweetener (I’m using erythritol).
Whisk it up together carefully until the chocolate has melted into the milk. Whisking constantly so the chocolate doesn’t set at the bottom and begin to burn.
Add cinnamon powder, and vanilla extract. Whisk it up until the mixture is completely smooth without bits of chocolate. Turn the heat off and serve immediately. You can serve this with some sugar-free whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder. Enjoy!
