Is it even Thanksgiving without some succulent gravy? Gravy is just such a classic. An absolute essential for the holidays, and a must for your Thanksgiving spread.

- 1½ cups turkey drippings
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp xantham gum
In a medium sauce pan over medium heat, place your 1½ cups of turkey drippings, 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, pinch of salt, and 1/2 tsp xantham gum. Mix well
Let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Then let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
As this gravy cools down it'll thicken.
If you need it to go back to pourable consistency, reheat it and it'll be perfect.
