Rich Sugar Free Chocolate

I’ve recently discovered another wonderful keto friendly product- a chocolate, at that! It’s called Ross Chocolate and it’s delicious rich chocolate flavor added the perfect combination of flavors to this dessert.

It’s amazing, especially for my dessert recipes, not only because it’ll help you stay in ketosis, but also because it’s very decadent. It’s also gluten-free, GMO-free, low cholesterol, and high fiber.

For that matter, all their products are gluten-free. It’s for all people, no discrimination. They also only use the best non-GMO ingredients on the market.

And since lowering the risk of heart disease is important to Ross Chocolates, they made their chocolate low in cholesterol. They also made their chocolate high in fiber to help control blood sugar levels and promote healthier gut bacteria.

This chocolate is a premium no-sugar-added chocolate for those with diabetes and others striving to eliminate sugars from their lives.

Ross dark chocolate has the smooth, rich taste of premium chocolate everyone loves and craves with equal fervor, but without added sugars that increase caloric intake and blood glucose levels.

I love products that are sweetened with stevia and a touch of erythritol and their newest line of chocolate only has 2.6 net carbs per bar.

This makes it have no impact on blood sugars.

This brand of chocolate is suitable for both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics, those on keto (like us) and low-carb diets, and, of course, those wanting to eliminate sugars from their diets.

It’s also an extremely valuable ingredient for a lot of my keto dessert recipes, especially for this easy keto chocolate pie.

How To Make An Almond Flour Crust

If you’re someone who craves chocolate every other day (like me), this keto chocolate cream pie recipe is the next best thing to actual real chocolate.

It’s my version of the French silk pie. And since a lot of us have this traditional dessert for thanksgiving and pie season, making a keto-friendly version was the only logical step for me.

For this keto chocolate pie crust recipe, all you need to do is to first, preheat the oven to 375°F / 190°C.

Next, grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter or cooking spray. Then, add the almond flour, cocoa powder, sweetener, baking powder, salt, and melted butter into a large mixing bowl.

Make sure to whisk well to combine the ingredients properly.

You don’t need a food processor to make this pie crust but if you have one, use that to mix all your pie crust ingredients.

Make sure the ingredients are well incorporated. Then, add one medium egg and mix until the crust dough is thoroughly mixed.

Use your hands to spread out the dough into the prepared pie dish. Finally, bake for 10-15 minutes, or until it sets. Allow the pie crust to completely cool.

Then, add the egg and vanilla extract. Pulse it again, and then a few seconds later, your keto chocolate pie crust recipe should be ready.

Making Desserts Ahead

Making this keto chocolate pie chocolate filling is quite simple but it’s very delicious.

All you need to do for the filling is to mix all the ingredients until it becomes light and fluffy.

Personally, I love to make up homemade whipped cream because I prefer it over the sugary varieties found in stores.

I’ve also found that homemade whipped cream retains its shape a lot better over time making it easier to spread and pipe onto our homemade recipes.

Once the pie has been assembled, refrigerate it for at least six hours before serving.

Then, top the pie with a good amount of whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

This keto chocolate dessert is extremely easy to make, as well as perfect for weekly meal preparations. I’ve recently started getting into the habit of meal prepping for keto.

It has saved me from cheating on my keto diet multiple times. Since starting to work full time on my own business, I can’t find the time to make homemade meals every single day.

Also, most of the recipes I share with you guys are meal-prepping friendly.

It’s always great to know you have a quality dessert in the fridge after dinner every single day. It has become a must for me!

So if you want to make this ahead, you may do so. It keeps very well in the
fridge.

This means that every time you get a chocolate craving (which is very much like an itch you can’t scratch unless you indulge), you’ll have some waiting on the fridge for your consumption.

That is, of course, unless you or the friends you’ve invited over, finish a whole pie right in one sitting.

What are you waiting for? Try it now and see for yourself how wonderfully easy and delicious this pie is.
